Terms and Conditions

These terms govern your use of the Alentejo Park website and motorhome pitch services. By using this site or making a booking, you agree to these terms.

Bookings

Bookings are confirmed upon receipt of a confirmation email. Alentejo Park reserves the right to refuse bookings at its discretion. Prices are as stated on the /stay page at the time of booking. No hidden fees are charged.

Cancellation

Cancellations made more than 14 days before arrival receive a full refund. Cancellations within 14 days receive a 50% refund. No-shows are not refunded. In cases of genuine emergency, we apply discretion — please contact us.

Conduct on site

This is a working farm. Guests are asked to keep noise levels reasonable after 22:00, to keep dogs on leads in proximity to the beehives (marked on the site map), and to use the designated dump station rather than discharging grey water onto the ground.

Privacy Policy

Alentejo Park (sole trader, NIF to be confirmed) collects and processes personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Portuguese Law 58/2019.

Data we collect

We collect name and email address via our contact form and newsletter signup. Booking data (name, email, arrival and departure dates) is processed by our booking platform provider. We do not collect payment card data directly.

How we use it

Contact form data is used solely to respond to your enquiry. Newsletter email addresses are used only to send the two annual farm letters described on this site. Booking data is used to manage your stay and send the pre-arrival and post-stay emails described under the booking system.

Retention

Contact form data is deleted after six months if no further contact is made. Newsletter addresses are retained until you unsubscribe. Booking records are retained for seven years as required by Portuguese tax law.

Your rights

Under GDPR, you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. Contact us at hello@alentejopark.com to exercise these rights.

Cookie Policy

What we use

This site uses one analytics cookie: Plausible Analytics. Plausible is a privacy-first, GDPR-compliant analytics service. It does not track individuals across websites, does not use fingerprinting, and does not share data with third parties including Google.

What we do not use

We do not use advertising or marketing cookies. We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any retargeting technology. We do not load third-party scripts from Google Fonts servers (fonts are self-hosted).

How to opt out

You can decline the analytics cookie using the banner on first visit. Your preference is stored in localStorage. To change your preference, clear site data in your browser settings.
